The daVinci Award
Caretel Inns greatest achievement has been in winning the coveted daVinci Award. Caretel Inns is the only company in our field to ever win this prestigious nationwide award. The daVinci Award is given in recognition of outstanding achievement in applied research, creation of products, and design of buildings for use by people with handicaps. The award is given by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Engineering Society of Detroit. These professionals who looked past mere décor and directly into the heart of our design improvements. Other winners of this award were huge companies with substantial resources like Disney Studios and the University of Michigan. We are in good company. Getting the daVinci Award was like winning an Oscar in our field.
GOVERNOR'S QUALITY CARE AWARD
The Governor’s Quality Care Award is an award issued to outstanding elder care facilities. Caretel was honored to receive this award in recognition of the quality of our care. This award is a direct tribute to our fine nurses and nurses’ aides who labor tirelessly to care for our guests.

OF MICHIGAN MAGAZINE
AWARDS
The Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) Magazine selects the twelve most outstanding buildings built in the State of Michigan each year. Those honored are judged not only on architectural significance and beauty, but also on innovative design, use of materials, technology and the functionality of the building. Among the hundreds of buildings built each year in Michigan, Caretel was honored to be recognized as one of the best in the state.Recipients of the CAM Award are mainly public projects or buildings of large companies. Some of the other winners are Ford Field, the Southfield Public Library, and the Michigan Hall of Justice. Caretel is the only company in its field to ever be recognized for its achievements by the Constructions Association of Michigan Magazine.SUMMARY
Caretel has won awards for applied research and design of buildings for people with handicaps (daVinci Award), for beauty, technology and functionality of its buildings (Construction Association of Michigan Award), and for the quality of its care (Governor’s Quality Care Award). Every day there are a thousand acts of care in each Caretel. We are not perfect and it can be hard to get everyone to do everything just the way we would want every minute of every day. What these awards say, is that the Caretel culture excels and strives to be better tomorrow than we are today.
